Our Minnesota District Assemblies of God Office organizes a terrific two day weekend, for a time of retreat and reflection, at the scenic Lake Geneva Christian Center located in Alexandria, Minnesota. This inspiring weekend highlights a featured speaker, worship team, topical sessions, and an opportunity to encourage, equip, and empower women in their faith journey with Jesus Christ. This year, the dynamic duo of Rebecca St. James and Evie will deliver beautiful music, and relevant Bible teaching. Speaker Orleen Haseltine will kick off the retreat. Orleen is a professional mom, biker, teacher, leadership trainer, and Associate Pastor and Maranatha Assembly of God in Forest Lake, Minnesota. With the understanding we have been designed to live in community, Orleen is dedicated to building family. Though the seasons of her life may change, her passion for the ministry never will. Registration opens online at www.mnaog.org July 29, at 9:00 a.m. In order to have a chance at on-site housing, you need to book a room on that day. Last year, over 50 ladies from Cedar Valley attended and were blessed.

Each holiday season, ladies from Cedar Valley transform the Bloomington Campus Atrium into a Holiday boutique showroom with lovely decorated tables for tea. The tea begins with a stroll throughout the room and viewing each table of teapots, teacups, and meticulously decorated place settings. Then, tea is served and followed by a lovely program. You may participate as a table hostess which welcomes your creativity by decorating a table or you may simply purchase an individual ticket and enjoy taking tea.
