This group is led by Chaplain Brian Brooks. It is for adults 18 or older. Minors with an adult are taken on a case by case.
Grieving the death of a loved one or friend is one of the most difficult experiences in life. It impacts us physically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally. It can feel like the world has been turned upside down. It’s normal to want a place to connect with people who understand the journey of grief, and it can be a really helpful way to process. You’re invited to experience life and healing with others as part of Grief Care. We trust God will use it to bring you comfort. Each evening consists of a short 5–10-minute introduction to an aspect of grief that will be explored that evening. Based on Beyond The Broken Heart by Julie Yarbrough.
$13 Book purchase, optional. We’ll be using the book, Beyond The Broken Hearted by Julie Yarbrough. If you choose not to purchase the book, you can just take your own notes.
Dinner & Kids Activities | Before you meet with the group, enjoy a homemade meal at Community Dinner. If you’ve got kids, sign them up for a Wednesday night Life Group. Find out more >
