Being Intentional
Being Intentional
In Daniel 2, King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream that prevented him from falling back to sleep. He demanded that his diviners to tell him what the dream meant, and what the dream was! None of his diviners could do it, so he became irate and sentenced everyone to death. But Daniel and his friends cried out to God and God gave Daniel the dream and its interpretation. Just like Daniel, there are times in our lives when we feel powerless and out of control. In those times, it’s important to remain intentional to stay on mission with God. We can do this by remembering that God is at work and is in control, that we’re to speak life into the world’s confusion, and to embrace times and seasons. Being intentional in a shifting culture means remembering in the moment.
