Conquering Compromise

In Daniel 3, we meet Daniel’s young friends again—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold and ordered everyone to fall down and worship this image of gold when they heard the music. Whoever didn’t fall down and worship would be thrown into a blazing furnace! Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego courageously refused to bow down and worship, even if it meant facing death. Where can we get the courage to stand up for our faith? Those that know God and invite Jesus to take over their lives are those who live with the same kind of conviction that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Conviction conquers compromise.
