I AM the Light of the World

This is our second week in our series on the “I AM” statements in the Gospel of John. In the world of the Bible (and in our world today), we hear of some pretty dark and evil things happening. We see murder, violence, hatred, and selfishness. But throughout the Bible, God reveals genuine hope for everyone. Jesus says, “I AM the Light of the World” (John 8:12). When we follow Jesus, we no longer walk in darkness because Jesus is the light that leads us. Hope in a dark world is found in the Light of the world.
