It’s What Disciples Do
It’s What Disciples Do
This is the third message in our Multiply series on discipleship. In our previous message, Neal mentioned two hallmarks of discipleship—the first one being obedience out of love for Christ. This week, we look at the second hallmark—disciples are called to make disciples, which is the principle of multiplication introduced in Genesis 1. God made male and female in His image and gave the command “to be fruitful and multiply” (Gen. 1:28). This concept of multiplication is natural, but it is also spiritual. Multiplication is one of the ways we see God work throughout time. We see this principle in Jesus’ words to His disciples in Matthew 28:18–20—Jesus commands them to “make disciples”. Disciples make disciples who make disciples.
