Jesus and Politics

How are we to live and behave in this current climate of political vitriol and polarization? Nothing divides like politics because nothing divides like fear. But what do divisions in the church communicate to others? We have an opportunity to model what it looks like to disagree politically but love unconditionally. In John 17, Jesus commanded his followers to be unified. Jesus’ disciples were just as diverse as we are today, but unity was of utmost importance to Jesus’ mission. God’s strategy is our unity.
