Standing Firm in a Shifting Culture

Daniel and his friends were taken out of their homeland and immersed in a very different culture in Babylon. Core to their identity was their worship of the One True God, but they were now in a  culture that didn’t worship God. We, too, are living in a world that’s shifting further and further away from God. If we’re not intentional, we’ll fall further away from God as well. The current culture wants to confuse our identity, compromise our standards, and test our faith. So, how do we, as followers of Jesus, navigate the shifting culture? We must stand in prayer, stand in our assignment, stand for God. We have work to do—and God wants to help us with it! Thriving in the culture requires standing for God.
