The Gift of the Advocate

One of the most common human experiences is a feeling of loneliness. We may feel alone even when we are surrounded by people in a crowded room. There’s something in our core makeup where we need to be fully known and fully loved. If we aren’t fully known and loved, we feel the pain of loneliness. As Christians, it’s important for us to remember that God’s presence is always with us. He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us always. The Holy Spirit is a gift because we’re never alone. God’s present to you is God’s presence in you.
