UNITE—It's a Jesus Thing

This is Unite Sunday when we celebrate our volunteers! The impact of Cedar Valley is not because of a handful of people, but because of the sacrifice of many volunteers! Serving is not just a good thing to do, it’s what Jesus is all about. Jesus modeled for us a compassionate and sacrificial life. In Luke 7:11–16, we see a great example of Jesus relieving human suffering. We embody the love of Jesus when we serve others and bring them relief from their burdens. Serving is not just a good thing, it’s a Jesus thing.
